Product Details

Traditionally used on a ledge and braced door, a thumb latch set is a decorative door latch with a thumb shaped lever. When the thumb shaped lever is pressed down this operates a thumb bar which passes through the door, this lifts the latch bar on the opposite side causing it to open
Our blacksmith thumblatches are hammered into shape from mild steel using the traditional manufacturing method of an anvil and fire

Dimensions: Thumb Bar Length: 170mm, Latch Length: 190mm, Handle Length: 216mm
Maximum door thickness: 75mm
Thumblatches are usually used in conjunction with a tee hinge on traditional plank doors
Sold as a set and supplied with necessary fixing screws

Delivery

The Door Handle Company carry stock of a wide range of products, deliveries to our customers are now in the normal range of 2 to 5 working days.

All of our parcels are despatched using Parcelforce's expert network of drivers who offer a 1 hour text notification service to all customers prior to delivery.

Parcelforce will make every effort to deliver to the address on the parcel or to an appropriate neighbour. If nobody is available, the parcel will be taken to a nearby Post Office where it can be collected within 16 days, this provides a real alternative for those not at home to accept delivery.

Important notice: We do not recommend booking any joiner/tradesperson to complete work that is dependent on our delivery until you have received and checked the products. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred.

Orders under £85.00 will be charged £6.95 for delivery - UK Mainland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands & Highlands.
Orders going to Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland will be charged £12.50 for delivery.
Orders going to the Channel Islands will be charged £20.00 for delivery.
Orders exceeding £85.00 will be sent free of charge *(This does not apply to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland & Channel Islands)*
