QUICK GUIDE

After you have finished your selection, click on view basket

  1. Enter your details and select your choice of payment, mail in for cheque payments or World Pay for credit and debit cards, to enable us to process your order.
  2. Check the carriage charge
  3. Verify your order
  4. Your order is completed an order acknowledgement will be emailed by return.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL

Simply select the category you're interested in e.g. door handles, lock bolts & latches etc..

You will then be taken to a sub-category e.g. designer lever on rose, designer lever on backplate etc. again click the category you're interested in.

From this section you can scroll up and down the page to see all the items within the section. Should you see an item of interest click 'find out more'; from here you are given detailed information about the product and the opportunity to add the item to your basket.

Before you can add anything to your basket you must click the button or buttons to select either the item itself or the relevant options you may require e.g. size, finish, style etc. If you don't do this, you will receive an error message, just go back page and click on the correct button.

The quantity will always be set at 1 - obviously you can adjust the quantity by selecting a new amount from the Quantity drop-down box.

Once your selections are complete click add to basket, you can now either continue shopping or go to checkout.

If you continue shopping, you may notice that the basket, in the top right corner of the page, keeps you up-to-date with the current value of the goods in your basket.

When you are happy that your order is complete you can go to the checkout by clicking the view basket link.

From here you have the opportunity to check the items in your basket. If you have made a mistake e.g. selected the wrong quantity or finish, you can amend the quantity, or simply delete the item altogether.

Once you are satisfied that everything is correct simply click proceed to checkout.

If you have purchased items from The Door Handle Company before, you can enter your email address and password, (don't worry if you can't remember your password just click the forgot password tab) if not then click the new customer tab.

You are now required to give general information about yourself, name, contact details billing address etc.. If you are concerned about the safety of this please check our privacy policy.

You will also be required to choose your payment method, there are 2 options, either Mail in to pay by cheque or World Pay to pay by credit or debit card.

If you prefer to pay by cheque, please make cheques payable to TDK Architectural Hardware Ltd, remembering to put your order number on the back and post to:

Your goods will be despatched as soon as the cheque clears our account.

Credit card security

Secure online payment by credit or debit card through WorldPay.

All transaction information passed between The Door Handle Company and the World Pay systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates.

Cardholder information is never passed unencrypted. You can rest assured that anything you pass to the World Pay servers cannot be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to access sensitive information.

This page informs you of the carriage charge, please don't forget if your order exceeds £150.00 inc. VAT, this will be shown as £0.00.

You will now be given the opportunity to verify that all the details of the order are correct, assuming that it is, click continue.

Step 4 of 4

If you selected World Pay as your payment method, click the World Pay logo and you will be directed to their secure payment page.

If you selected the Mail in option you will be given an order number, which you should write on the back of your cheque.

For both payment options once completed, you will be sent a confirmation email, with all the relevant details of your order.
